We’ve received word from our Window Washing vendor, they expect our next seasonal exterior window cleaning will begin weather permitting on Monday August 10th.
The current weather outlook seems to indicate a mixed bag of possibilities, but as we know in Chicago the weather is prone to change at any moment. Particularly in the summer. Precipitation or high winds would result in a delay, as safety of the window washers is paramount with this type of task.
As always, we do ask the vendor to start on the ’01 tier corner, and work around the exterior counter clockwise progressing tier by tier. But weather conditions could dictate they switch to another tier. So, your best notice they’ll be working, is seeing their ropes drop outside your windows.
If the weather cooperates, this work is typically done within 5 business days. If the weather is chronically uncooperative – which it can and has been many times in the past – they will work on Saturday and Sunday as a last resort.
Don’t hesitate to contact us with any problems or concerns. Best by e-mail at parktowercondomgmt@habitat.com or phone 773-769-3250. For example, if they miss a spot or a window, let us know. We have 7 days to report any such problems. Typically the vendor sends a rep to inspect the condition within the unit, and they address it from there accordingly.
