Specifics are not yet available, as we are gathering preliminary bids and references for materials, plumbing contractors and a new carpenter. However, based on what we presently know, the following is a list of the domestic hot water risers we plan to look at and the tentative timing work could be possible:
Those of you who have stayed on top of our long term calendar may note, the ’02/’04 riser is being accelerated by several years. That is in response to concerns our team has had, following a number of issues we have had to address on that riser. In an effort to be proactive, we are indeed planning to tackle that riser first, and well in advance of what we had originally planned.
No specific calendar of activities is available as of yet. We are still in the process of getting bids, after which we will seek formal Board approval. However, we do expect preliminary notices to go to the High Zone ’02/’04 tier in January, with more information. We will also schedule a Town Hall Meeting, to sit down with owners and residents, explain the history, process, anticipated schedule and answer questions.
Now would be an ideal time for any Owners in these locations to decide if you want to do remodeling. Particularly if we are going to be working in your kitchen or bathroom. The sooner you start planning, the better.
