Earlier this week, Buena Park Neighbors sponsored a forum where five of the six candidates hoping to become the next 46th Ward alderman spoke and shared their ideas for the future of the ward.If you couldn't make it, never fear. Yesterday, Governor Pritzker made his endorsements for local offices in the February 28th election, including aldermen. In the 46th Ward, he endorsed Kim Walz as his candidate of choice. The Clark Street Crossroads working group first organized and began meeting at the end of 2021, and we have shared updates along the way. Close to $8 million dollars in Clark-Montrose TIF funds are expiring this year and need to be spent to improve the district before they expire or are lost to the City's general fund.The Crossroads group solicited public comment and received input from local residents before issuing their draft report a couple of weeks ago.
