This effort is important to reduce wear and tear of the garage surface and to help reduce the grime and foreign substances tracked into the building, your vehicles and homes.
Each quadrant within the garage is scheduled for cleaning as follows between the hours of 9AM and 5PM on the following dates:
Monday, December 9th
Level 1P spaces 90-149, T16-T23, All Valet & Motorcycles
Tuesday, December 10th
Level 1P spaces 21-89, T14-T15, All Valet
Wednesday, December 11th
Level 2P spaces 82-149, T16-T23, SW
Thursday, December 12th
Level 2P spaces 1-81, T1-T14, 148, 150, 151
VALET PARKERS – YOUR VEHICLE MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE GARAGE BY 9AM ON BOTH MONDAY AND TUESDAY. ALSO, anyone expecting guests during the day should let them know parking may not be available. You can also call the garage in advance at 773-271-8859, to gauge availability.
We know this process is challenging for our parkers, but this maintenance is necessary to maintain the garage surface and reduce the grime that gets tracked into the building. This also helps remove substances which may accelerate erosion of the concrete on 1P and particularly 2P. So work can begin promptly, all parkers must move their cars from the garage BY 9AM. If your car remains IT MAY BE DAMAGED OR STAINED by debris that can be kicked up in the power-washing process. The Association, staff and cleaning vendor will not be responsible for any such damage or stains.
A $150 fee is charged for any vehicle not moved by 9AM as scheduled, and a $300 fee will be charged for any vehicle that has failed to move for the previous power wash.
IF A PARKER HAS FAILED TO MOVE FOR A THIRD TIME, THE FEE DOUBLES TO $600 AND THEIR PARKING LICENSE WILL BE REVOKED!
Parkers may request their vehicle be moved by the staff for $100, but the service will only be available with a minimum 7 day notice, and only if room is expected to be available based on occupancy at the time the power wash is scheduled. The pricey fee is necessary because our staff does not have the time or resources to move hundreds of cars during these timeframes. Ultimately, as many parkers as possible need to either move their own vehicle or arrange it to be relocated in advance.
