The riser replacement project will commence as planned Monday July 14th. Preparations are underway and all residents from 30 to 55 will be impacted as materials are set in place. The team will be working their way down from 55 to 30 over the next several weeks; materials will be placed in the hall to protect the floors and bins for tools, supplies, waste and other materials will be present from time to time during the day as work begins.
Residents can expect noise and vibrating, particularly in the vicinity of the 12/14 units. There will be workers coming and going on a daily basis, to and from these floors, over the course of the next several weeks, until major completion of reconstruction, which is expected mid-August.
– All ‘12/’14 Units – Monday July 14th, daily riser shut downs will begin for the entire 12/14 tier bathrooms from the 30th to 55th floor. We anticipate this to take place each weekday between 9am and 4pm, from Monday the 14th until Friday August 1st. Barring unforeseen complications, the water should be back on each day at 4pm and the last day of water shut downs is expected to be August 1st.
– All Units – Tuesday July 15th, the water will be shut down for the entire high zone from 9am to 4pm – that is all units kitchens and baths from the 30th floor to the 55th floor.
