Workers will be present overnight on these dates, to conduct the tasks needed, between 9pm and 5am.
Our metal maintenance contractor, Stuart Dean, will be performing scheduled repairs and maintenance to the doors and frames, including the revolving doors. This includes re-coating the metal framing of the doors and windows. This is done to help increase the useful life of the metal, and maintain a presentable appearance.
Work is expected to be performed between 8am and 5pm each day, and ingress and egress through the doors may be obstructed from time to time while work is being done, and when there is wet paint. This is for resident’s protection, as well as to protect the integrity of the work being performed.
Also – while they are painting, there will be an odor. The crew is expected to bring an air-handler to help the odor dissipate. However, some residents may notice this odor and depending on wind conditions it may enter the building and lobby area from time to time. We will do our best to prevent this, but in the past there are times when the odor has been noticeable.
While they work on the 2nd floor, the week of the 29th, we’ve reminded them that there are residences just above the work location and to make an effort to avoid making any disturbances.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this maintenance is completed, and apologize in advance for any frustration or inconvenience the work or odors may cause.
