  Interesting news (first tipped in 2023, now confirmed) that Planet Fitness is opening a location at 909 W. Montrose in the former Uptown Fitness space.As longtime readers recall, Uptown Fitness replaced World Gym at the location. Uptown Fitness' departure in 2020 was blamed on COVID lockdowns and many patrons were left in the lurch by the former owner.   Humboldt Haus 2(?) Nears Completion at 5046 N. Clark

  We have been watching the property at 5046 N. Clark since it was sold in 2024. 5046 N.
