Work will continue on both 1p and 2p. Our staff is waiting for a delivery of new trim and base board materials. We expect to receive it any day, after which both hallways will be completed.
Although we do not believe there will be any further significant hallway obstructions, please continue to be mindful when you are coming and going from the 1p and 2p levels. Until the improvements are completed, workers will be present from time to time conducting the expected finishing efforts.
Work is almost done on 2p, with a few days left of base board and threshold installation, and finishing work.
The crew is all set to begin work on 1p around 3am Monday March 11th. Our staff is doing their best to minimize inconvenience, but there are times traffic may be obstructed. There will be times you may need to walk around tools, equipment and workers. And once in a while you may be directed to the stairs or temporarily unable to get to and from the 1p garage at this location, or the laundry room.
Please plan some extra time coming and going from 1p, and use caution at any time workers or materials are present.
If you see the yellow barricade in place, please don’t attempt to go over or around the location as there may be wet glue present.
Preparations have been underway for some time, but we now have all the materials needed so work can begin. Our staff has mapped out an installation plan, such that traffic will remain open, but may be obstructed or redirected from time to time.
This will start on 2p, very early morning on Monday March 4th. Our team will begin around 3am, and work until about 3:30pm. We estimate work will continue throughout the week, the same hours, and barring any surprises should be completed by the end of business on Friday March 8th.
AS YOU ARE COMING TO AND FROM THE SERVICE ELEVATORS AND GARAGE, please plan for extra time during these hours and use caution as workers and equipment will be present. Our staff is making every effort to reduce obstructions and inconvenience, but due to the nature of the work this should be expected from time to time.
2P will be followed by 1p. Should all go as expected, our team intends to begin 1p early morning Monday March 11th, and work should be done by Friday March 15th.

Incidentally, as approved by the Board, the same flooring material used in the package room will be used for this project.
