Suite 114 in the mall, the space that used to contain a convenience market, and most recently “Go Grocer”, has stood empty for over a year now. It has been on the market for lease for most of that time. No parties have come forward yet to express any serious interest in opening another market or business there.
As a result of recent discussion, the Board is interested in forming an Ad Hoc Commission to closely review the space, and explore ideas on what to do with it. Since a business or leasing opportunity may not be on the horizon, they are looking for help brainstorming other potential uses that may be of benefit to the Association, Owners and residents.
A Board Member is expected to be appointed as the liaison for the Commission, and will guide and report on progress and recommendations to the Board. Once the Commission has formally formed and members are appointed, a meeting schedule and strategy to complete the effort and present recommendations to the Board will be considered.
