A New Security Service Firm Has Been Hired – And Improved Move-In/Move-Out Procedures Are Being Implemented

As Agreed To This Fall, The Association’s Board Agreed To Hire Harvard Protection Services To Replace Admiral Security

The transition to Harvard Protection began this week, and they will now be providing our 3rd Party roaming and special event security services Monday through Sunday 7:30am to 11:30am. This includes moves and party room events.

As a result, you will see some new faces and new uniforms. There will be one familiar face though, as long time guard Michael Dickey did apply for a position and as was hired by Harvard Protection, with the Board and Management’s blessing. Adonis Bell, who has been with us for 5 years, chose to remain with Admiral Security.

Regarding Move-Ins and Move-Outs

The move guards will begin asking Owners and residents to swipe their fobs at the service area entrance.

For better community protection, we ask that everyone swipe their fob to confirm for the guard that you are a registered occupant. These guards are temporary and we don’t always have the same person filling the position. So, it is difficult for them to learn all the names and faces, or confirm your residency.

By following this procedure, we will help prevent the possibility of someone unknown just strolling in off the street and entering the residential tower.

So if you need to use the service elevator entrance while a move is in progress, please be prepared and swipe the reader to the left of the doorway. When the fob reader light turns from RED to GREEN, you will be good to go:

Otherwise you will be directed to the Management Office or Front Desk. Likewise, all visitors – deliveries, contractors, guests etc., will be directed to the front desk to check in. When that is done, if they need to enter via the service elevator, the door staff will coordinate with the guard.
