Our maintenance team reports that the main exhaust system serving all bathroom vents building wide, is offline due to a problem with the motor.
Parts had to be ordered which we expect to be delivered early next week. The fan which draws air from all residential bathroom vents will be inoperable until the work is completed, which is expected on Wednesday July 16th. The team reported that if all goes as anticipated, the exhaust system should be brought back online by 4pm that day.
The repair work is taking place in the mechanical penthouse on the 56th floor. Residents from about the 50th floor to the 55th floor may hear noise from time to time during the day, while the repair team is working, starting around 8am on Wednesday.
