Work was completed on the repairs, however, professional balancing needs to be done.
Our team coordinate this for Tuesday March 24th, which was the soonest a provider was available. Assuming all goes well, the exhaust fan for the bathrooms should be back up and running normally by the end of business on Tuesday.
Our team has advised the materials will arriving as expected.
The contract scheduled the repair work to be scheduled beginning Monday March 16th and it should be completed by the end of business on Wednesday March 18th.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this work is being finished up.
See below for more.
A grinding noise from the fan motor could be heard several floors down. Upon inspection it was determined that damage could be done if it was not taken out of service immediately.
This outage will impact all units and bathrooms.
This does require parts which have been ordered, and repair by an outside vendor which has already been authorized. The necessary materials should arrive within a week, and once they are in hand, the repair will take about 2 or 3 days.
The outage may be unnoticeable, but depending on wind conditions residents may notice air flow reversing out of the bathroom vents from time to time. And it may take longer for humid conditions or odors to clear.
If expectations change, we will update this post.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this repair is coordinated.
