DESCRIPTION:TOWN HALL MEETING \n  \nPreventing Bed Bugs! \nMonday September 23\, 7pm \n  \nChicago Has Dropped To 9th On The List In The U.S.\, but… \n  \nThat does not mean we can drop our guard. \n  \nJoin us Monday September 23rd at 7pm in the Party Room\, as we continue our effort to keep residents educated and aware of this nasty\, invasive\, stubborn and destructive pest. We will talk about our past experiences with Bed Bugs\, how we are doing now and what our present efforts and procedures are. \n  \nThen our K9 team and friends with AEGIS Pest Control will discuss why Bed Bugs continue to be such a huge problem. They will talk about the importance of early detection and why it is critical to inspect on a regular basis. They will talk about what you can look for between K9 visits\, and what you can expect when the team visits. Plus\, say “Hi” to our K9 Bed Bug Detection Specialists\, Scout\, and the newest member of the team Harper. \n  \nAEGIS will also talk about their new “Proactive Treatment Protocol”. This is a new program that was developed to help stop bed bugs if they somehow get in your home\, and reduces the opportunity for them to spread. This “proactive” treatment has been tested successfully in multiple units at Park Tower\, and they are now ready to introduce it as a \n  \nEducation and awareness is arguably the most important tool in battling this pest.
